“These are the Names” is een unieke muziektheatervoorstelling in het donker, gebaseerd op het gelijknamige boek van Tommy Wieringa. Deze eigen productie van het Storioni Festival (oorspronkelijk uit 2018) wordt nu in het Engels gepresenteerd, speciaal voor het internationale publiek. Het is een performance die je onderdompelt in een wereld van verhalen en muziek, waar licht en schaduw elkaar afwisselen en de zintuigen worden geprikkeld.
Verteller Thom Hoffman neemt het publiek mee op een indringende reis door het verhaal, waarbij de kracht van zijn stem en de muzikale begeleiding door het Storioni Trio (Wouter Vossen, viool; Marc Vossen, cello; Bram van de Roer, piano) de emoties en de diepere betekenis van het verhaal versterken. De muziek ondersteunt de tekst, biedt ruimte voor reflectie en brengt de spanning van het verhaal tot leven.
Het verhaal, vol met existentiële vragen en diepgaande thema’s, speelt zich af in een indringende, mysterieuze sfeer, versterkt door de duisternis waarin de voorstelling plaatsvindt. This original production of the Storioni Festival (first presented in 2018) is now being presented in English, specifically for an international audience. Narrator Thom Hoffman takes the audience on an intense journey through the story, with the power of his voice and the musical accompaniment of the Storioni Trio (Wouter Vossen, violin; Marc Vossen, cello; Bram van de Roer, piano) enhancing the emotions and deeper meaning of the narrative.
