Met trots kijken we terug op een geweldig twee weken lang durend Storioni Festival 2023: www.storionifestival.nl
In onze eerste ‘Outreach’-week waren er talloze speciale concerten voor ouderen, voor mensen met een fysieke of mentale uitdaging, maar ook de Storioni Academie-workshops en het Storioni Concours.
Tijdens ‘Music in the Streets’ brachten we muziek in de straten van de Eindhovense binnenstad met gratis openbare concerten. Muziek van meer dan 30 acts klonken in de drukbezochte straten.
In de tweede week musiceerden zo’n 45 musici uit vele verschillende landen samen op podia in Kasteel Heeze, het Evoluon, de werkplaats van designer Piet Hein Eek en in het Muziekgebouw Eindhoven.
Deze internationale topmusici speelden uiteenlopend repertoire, soms met met bijzonder intrigerende klanken, zoals boventoonzang en een heuse Alpenhoorn.
Wat een feest voor de stad Eindhoven en haar inwoners om zulke topmusici in huis te hebben.

We proudly look back at two wonderful weeks of the Storioni Festival 2023: www.storionifestival.nl
Our first ‘Outreach’-week was filled with special concerts for elderly, for people with a mental or physical disability, but also with the Storioni Academy workshops and the Storioni Competition.
With ‘Music in the Streets’ we brought music to the city streets of Eindhoven with free open-air concerts for all to enjoy. More than 30 acts filled the inner city with all kinds of music.
During the second week 45 musicians from many different countries performed together in venues such as the Kasteel Heeze, Evoluon Eindhoven, Piet Hein Eek and Muziekgebouw Frits Philips Eindhoven. These festival musicians are the best you can imagine playing classical repertoire and bringing new intriguing sounds, such as ‘overtoon singing’ and music for Alphorn. What a feast for the city of Eindhoven to have such great international musicians on stage!
